The Position: Area Sales Manager

As an Area Sales Manager at Zomato, you'll be the driving force behind bringing Zomato's services to restaurants in your designated area. You'll be responsible for building strong relationships with restaurateurs, helping them understand the value Zomato offers, and ultimately, growing our network and revenue. What You'll Do:

  • Be a Zomato champion! Spread the word about our platform to restaurants in your area, explaining how Zomato can help them reach more customers and boost their business.
  • Negotiate and close deals with restaurants, tailoring Zomato's offerings to their specific needs.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with restaurant owners and managers, becoming their trusted partner in the online food delivery world.
  • Be a team player! Motivate and coach your team of sales representatives, helping them achieve their targets and develop their skills.
  • Analyze data and track your progress, ensuring you're constantly exceeding sales goals and expanding Zomato's reach.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and competitor activity, keeping your finger on the pulse of the food delivery market.

Who You Are:

  • A natural salesperson with a passion for food and the restaurant industry.
  • You have a minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience, ideally in the B2B (business-to-business) space.
  • Communication is your superpower! You can clearly explain complex ideas, tailor your approach to different audiences, and build rapport with ease.
  • You're a go-getter who thrives on setting and achieving ambitious goals.
  • You're a team player with strong leadership qualities, able to motivate and coach others.
  • Data analysis is your friend! You can understand sales reports, identify trends, and use this information to make strategic decisions.
  • A college degree is preferred, but relevant experience and a proven sales track record are highly valued.
