Position: Front-End Developer (Remote)

Location: Remote - This role can be performed from anywhere in India

Job Summary:

As a Front-End Developer at TCS, you'll play a pivotal role in building and maintaining the user-facing interfaces of our web applications and digital products. You'll collaborate closely with designers and back-end developers to translate design concepts into functional and responsive user interfaces. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
• Writing clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Implementing responsive design principles to ensure flawless user experiences across different devices and screen sizes.
• Collaborating with designers to translate design mockups into high-fidelity web interfaces.
• Conducting unit testing and debugging code to ensure application functionality and performance.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest front-end development trends and technologies.
• Contributing to code reviews and knowledge sharing within the development team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop user interfaces that are visually appealing, intuitive, and user-friendly.
• Write clean, modular, and reusable code following best practices.
• Implement accessibility standards to ensure everyone can use our applications.
• Optimize web applications for performance and responsiveness across various devices.
• Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues to ensure smooth application functionality.
• Collaborate effectively with designers, back-end developers, and product managers.
• Stay updated with the latest front-end development trends and technologies.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to continuously improve your skillset.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Front-End Developer (for experienced candidates).
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript fundamentals.
• Proficiency in a front-end development framework like React, Angular, or Vue.js (preferred).
• Experience with responsive web design principles.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for building beautiful and user-friendly web experiences.
