Job Summary:

We're looking for a passionate and results-oriented Sales Executive to join our vibrant team. You'll be responsible for identifying and onboarding new sellers onto the Meesho platform. This involves prospecting potential entrepreneurs, understanding their needs, and showcasing the benefits of selling with Meesho. You'll build strong relationships with new sellers, providing them with the necessary guidance and support throughout the onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively prospect for potential sellers across various channels.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of Meesho to potential sellers, highlighting the benefits of our platform.
  • Qualify leads and convert them into successful sellers on the Meesho platform.
  • Build strong relationships with new sellers, providing ongoing support and addressing their concerns.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the seller community and market trends.
  • Contribute to achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to sales activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, preferably in a B2B or B2C environment (fresh graduates with exceptional communication skills will also be considered).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Target-oriented and driven to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for e-commerce and the social commerce space is a plus.

Experience:

This role is open to both freshers and experienced sales professionals. For freshers, strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a willingness to learn and a drive to succeed, are crucial. For experienced professionals, a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building successful client relationships is essential.
