Job Summary

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing insightful financial analysis and support to various business units within HCL. This role offers a blend of technical and analytical tasks, requiring strong financial modeling and data analysis skills. You will be involved in tasks such as:

• Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Creating and maintaining financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability.
• Conducting variance analysis to identify and understand differences between actual and budgeted results.
• Participating in the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Supporting with financial reporting and ad-hoc analysis requests.
• Staying up-to-date on current accounting practices and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various business units to understand their financial needs and objectives.
• Leverage financial data and analytical tools to generate insightful reports and recommendations.
• Identify trends and patterns in financial data to support informed decision-making.
• Communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role (for experienced candidates).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent financial modeling skills using tools like Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in financial statement analysis and accounting principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience:

• This position is open to both experienced financial analysts and recent graduates with a strong academic background in finance.
