Job Summary:

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in driving sales of BHEL's extensive product portfolio. You'll be responsible for identifying potential customers, building strong relationships, and generating leads that convert into successful sales opportunities. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and work-life balance while contributing to the national mission of building a robust infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients across various industries, including power, transportation, and industrial sectors.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts with key decision-makers in target companies.
  • Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, email marketing, and attending industry events.
  • Prepare compelling sales presentations that showcase the value proposition of BHEL's products and services.
  • Understand customer needs and challenges, offering customized solutions that meet their specific requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring favorable terms for BHEL.
  • Oversee the sales cycle from lead generation to order placement, providing excellent customer service throughout the process.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and reports, contributing to data analysis and future sales strategies.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including marketing, production, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • A passion for sales and a strong desire to achieve targets.

Experience:

This is a great opportunity for both freshers and experienced professionals. Freshers with strong academic backgrounds and a willingness to learn will be considered. For experienced candidates, a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the engineering or infrastructure sector, is preferred.
