Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Supervisor to join our dynamic team. You'll be responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring adherence to regulations, leading and mentoring pharmacy technicians, and providing exceptional customer service. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in India, making it ideal for individuals seeking a work-life balance.

Job Summary

As a Store Manager at Apollo Pharmacy, you'll be responsible for the overall success of your assigned store. This includes:

  • Leading and motivating a team of pharmacy technicians and sales associates.
  • Overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining a well-stocked inventory of medicines, over-the-counter drugs, and healthcare products.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and offering expert advice on healthcare products.
  • Managing store finances, including cash handling, budgeting, and meeting sales targets.
  • Ensuring adherence to all regulatory compliances and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
  • Building strong relationships with local doctors and healthcare providers.
  • Contributing to the growth of the store by implementing marketing initiatives and building customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop your team to deliver high performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and mentorship opportunities.
  • Schedule and manage staff rosters to ensure optimal store coverage.
  • Oversee pharmacy operations, including dispensing medication and verifying prescriptions. (This may require a pharmacy degree depending on location).
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and place timely orders for medications and supplies.
  • Manage store finances, including cash handling, petty cash, and preparing daily reports.
  • Track store performance against sales targets and implement strategies to achieve goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including drug storage and dispensing protocols.
  • Maintain a safe and clean store environment for both staff and customers.
  • Build rapport with local doctors and healthcare professionals for referrals and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement marketing initiatives to promote store services and products.
  • Provide excellent customer service with a focus on patient needs and well-being.
  • Address customer inquiries and offer expert advice on healthcare products.
  • Maintain a positive and professional work environment for the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum graduation degree in Pharmacy or a related field (may vary by location).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a coaching mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including inventory management software and point-of-sale systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
