Job Summary

As an SEO Manager at PhonePe, you'll be the architect of our organic search success. You'll lead the development and implementation of comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic traffic, improve brand awareness, and drive user acquisition. Your responsibilities will encompass keyword research, competitive analysis, on-page optimization, content strategy development, and technical SEO audits. You'll stay abreast of the latest SEO trends and algorithms, ensuring PhonePe maintains a dominant presence in search engine results pages (SERPs).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-volume, relevant search terms that align with PhonePe's business goals and target audience.
• Analyze competitor SEO strategies and identify opportunities to outrank them in organic search results.
• Perform technical SEO audits to identify and fix website and app crawlability, indexing, and mobile-friendliness issues.
• Develop and implement on-page optimization strategies, including title tag and meta description optimization, internal linking structure improvement, and content optimization for targeted keywords.
• Work collaboratively with content creators to ensure content aligns with SEO best practices and targets relevant keywords.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates, implementing changes to optimize PhonePe's website and app for search engines.
• Track and analyze website traffic data, including organic search traffic, conversions, and user behavior, to measure the effectiveness of SEO initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
• Generate SEO reports to communicate performance metrics and insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams like product, content, and marketing to ensure a holistic approach to SEO across all digital touchpoints.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of success in increasing organic traffic and website visibility.
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and link building (optional).
• Experience with SEO tools and platforms like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Passion for digital marketing and a strong understanding of the digital payments landscape (a plus).

Experience Level: Mid-Level to Senior Level
