The Role

We are searching for a talented and motivated Production Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

• Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules to meet deadlines and optimize production efficiency.
• Process Improvement: Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Quality Control: Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure products meet all specifications and standards.
• Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
• Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date production documentation, including process procedures, work instructions, and quality control plans.
• Data Analysis: Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Project Management: Lead and participate in production-related projects, ensuring timely completion within budget.
• Collaboration: Work effectively with other engineers, technicians, and production staff to achieve common goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and principles.
• Experience in utilizing production planning and scheduling software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software (desirable).
• Experience with quality control principles and practices (desirable).
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles (desirable).

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a production engineering role (for experienced candidates).
