Position: Network Administrator

Location: Remote (Anywhere)

Job Summary:

As a Network Administrator at HP, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and security of our global network infrastructure. You will work proactively to identify and troubleshoot network issues, ensuring optimal performance and uptime. You will also play a key role in implementing new technologies and security measures to keep HP's network safe and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance metrics such as bandwidth utilization, latency, and packet loss.
• Troubleshoot network problems and identify root causes of network outages.
• Implement and maintain network security policies and procedures.
• Perform routine network maintenance tasks, including software updates and configuration changes.
• Document network configurations and procedures.
• Provide technical support to internal users regarding network connectivity issues.
• Assist with network capacity planning and infrastructure upgrades.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest networking technologies and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a network administration role.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols and technologies.
• Experience with network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Proficiency in network troubleshooting and diagnostics tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A passion for technology and a desire to learn.

Experience:

This role is open to both recent graduates (freshers) with a strong academic foundation in networking and individuals with 1-2 years of experience in a network administration role.
