Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze test results, identify defects, and document them in a clear and concise manner.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to developers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and ensure timely delivery.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in software testing.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies for enhanced quality assurance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in software testing (for experienced candidates).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Proficient in manual testing methodologies (black-box testing, white-box testing, etc.).
• Working knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is a plus.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience

This role is open to both freshers and experienced professionals. For freshers, a strong academic background in computer science or a related field, coupled with a keen interest in quality assurance, is a plus. Experienced candidates with a minimum of 1 year of software testing experience will be highly considered.
